Course Overview

This course covers AWS multi-cloud strategies, including extending AWS services and infrastructure into on-premises and edge locations. It explores the role of VMware Cloud on AWS in extending hybrid strategies and applies AWS multi-cloud strategies to run container-based applications on-premises and in the cloud. The course discusses various AWS services such as AWS Outposts, AWS Local Zones, AWS Wavelength, and AWS Snow Family, as well as Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS) Anywhere and Amazon Elastic Container Services (ECS) Anywhere. By the end of the course, learners will be able to identify how AWS services can be extended into on-premises and edge locations, understand the role of VMware Cloud on AWS, and apply AWS multi-cloud strategies to run container-based applications.
