Intel® ESQ for Robotics

Qualify and Scale Robotics Hardware on Intel Edge Platforms.

Intel® Edge System Qualification for Intel® AI Edge System

Overview

Intel® ESQ for Robotics is a system qualification framework designed to be a self-serve tool to qualify your boards, modules or systems as a ready-to-deploy robotics hardware. It aligns compute, camera, and software pipelines to ensure systems are deployment-ready across robot types such as AMRs, humanoids, and vision controllers.

Built on Intel’s latest edge silicon platforms (Panther Lake, Wildcat Lake), ESQ enables partners to qualify systems for performance, determinism, and interoperability—reducing integration risk and accelerating time to deployment.

Systems Requirement

Intel® ESQ for Robotics defines system requirements across two qualification tiers—Advanced Robotics and Mainstream Robotics—aligned to real-world workloads, robot types, and performance expectations. Each tier reflects increasing levels of compute, determinism, and AI capability required for deployment on the latest Intel® edge platforms.

Vision AI and Generative AI in warehouses, retail, and datacenters

Designed for next-generation robotics systems that require high compute density, real-time determinism, and support for complex AI models and multi-sensor fusion.

  • Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models for embodied AI
  • Humanoid robotics (single-arm / dual-arm manipulation)
  • Advanced perception + planning pipelines
  • Multi-camera, multi-modal sensor fusion systems
Efficient mid-scale Edge AI performance

Optimized for cost-performance balance, supporting widely deployed robotics stacks and real-time control systems across industrial and commercial use cases.

  • Classical ROS2 navigation
  • Vision AI using models such as YOLOv11
  • Real-time control and actuation systems
  • Robot Vision Controllers (RVC)
